More than three million people use the services of public pharmacies in Germany every day – that's more than one billion contacts per year. The bond and loyalty between pharmacies and their customers is stronger than in almost any other sector. A unique gateway to make access to healthcare more efficient and easier!
We are therefore really happy about the pharmacies that have already recognized this potential and are using our AI solutions for diagnostics. The online service "Frag die Apotheke" and the Sindy Krause pharmacies in Saxony have recently joined the team.
Back to our roots with the Sindy Krause pharmacies
In addition to our headquarters in Berlin, IQONIC.AI also has a location in Saxony – and our roots also lie in this federal state. Through the cooperation with Sindy Krause pharmacies, we are bringing our innovation back to our home. The team at Sindy Krause pharmacies stands for one thing above all else: first-class advice. In order to be able to provide advice and support in all matters relating to medicines and health, the employees have undergone extensive training, and innovative tools such as our AI analysis are now also finding their way into the stores to take advice to the next level.
AI analysis meets live chat: “Frag die Apotheke”
Personal advice is usually essential for individual health issues. But what if there is no local doctor or pharmacist available?
In the “Frag die Apotheke” online live chat, real pharmacists are available around the clock to answer individual questions quickly, competently and comprehensively – and completely free of charge. For all skin-related questions, our AI skin scan is now also available to "Ask the Pharmacy" users. The best thing about it: the analysis results can be used directly in the 24/7 consultation. This allows advisors to make more precise recommendations based on an individual's skin profile.
The pharmacy as a gateway: Hybrid health with IQONIC.AI
Why do we offer IQONIC.AI in the pharmacy at all?
The pharmacy is the ideal entry point for hybrid health: the relatively high density of locations, the expertise of the staff and the proximity to the patients enable a fast and broad market launch. AI-supported diagnostics in pharmacies can facilitate access to medical care, especially in structurally weak regions where there is a lack of (specialist) doctors' practices. So far, we have mainly offered our AI skin and hair analyses to support OTC sales. But the potential is much greater: artificial intelligence enables pre-indications and diagnoses. This gives pharmacies a triage tool: Can the patient be helped in the pharmacy, can they help themselves, or do they need medical help?
We would like to thank the Sindy Krause pharmacies, the "Frag die Apotheke" team and all our other pharmacy customers for their courage in taking this innovative step and for their trust in working with us.
