Sindy Krause has decided to focus on analysing the skin and recommending suitable products from two brands, Dermasence and WIDMER.

Integration: Progress And Results

Marcus Krause describes the implementation of the system as uncomplicated, particularly due to its ease of use. There were no technical or organisational difficulties. The skin analysis was fully integrated into the daily work routine from the very first day of use.
Since its introduction, the service has been consistently well received by customers. However, they have so far not used it independently, but only with the support of pharmacy staff.
In terms of economic benefits, no significant impact on the sale of skin care products has been observed to date. The use of the system is currently limited mainly to regular customers. Nevertheless, skin analysis actively supports the consultation process by serving as a starting point for sales talks in the area of cosmetic OTC products.
The company is currently promoting skin analysis through its own channels. Should a positive effect on customer frequency or purchasing behaviour become apparent in the future, marketing activities are planned to be intensified.

From October 2024 to May 2025, up to 80% of users progressed from the home page to the results page (average 47%). Of these users, between 50% and 88% (average 60%) also visited the subsequent product page. Ultimately, up to 100% of users (average 30%) clicked on a product. The pharmacies in the south of the Zwickau district, on the western edge of the Ore Mountains, were founded in Kirchberg in 1994 and in Wilkau-Haßlau in 1990. Since their takeover in April 2011 and December 2017 by pharmacist Sindy Krause e.K., they have developed into a recognised health institution.
